Complete guide to getting your driving licence from the Pune RTO (MH-12).
RTO Office Details
Step 1: Apply for Learner Licence (LL)
Documents needed:- Aadhaar card
- 2–4 passport photos
- Age proof (10th marksheet / birth certificate)
- Form 1 (medical) + Form 2 (LL application)
- Fee: ₹200–₹250
1. Visit parivahan.gov.in
2. Select MH-12 as your RTO
3. Fill and submit Form 2 online
4. Book written test slot
5. Appear at RTO → Pass test → Get LL
Step 2: Practice for 30+ Days
- Display 'L' board on vehicle
- Drive only with a licensed adult
- Practice Pune roads and RTO test routes

Step 3: Book Your Driving Test
1. Log in to parivahan.gov.in after 30 days
2. Apply for Permanent DL → Driving Test
3. Select MH-12 slot
4. Pay ₹300–₹400
5. Appear with original documents
Step 4: Collect Your DL
DL dispatched by post within 7–15 days. Track status on Parivahan portal.
